I Tried Family Medicine for 30 days
Family Medicine with Dr. Davies in Sulphur, Louisiana was a wonderful experience. I was placed in a rural town with my best friend, and everyone there was so friendly. Granted, we worked long hours, but learned so much about family medicine and what it means to be a primary care provider for a well-knit community. I want to thank everyone who made the experience so memorable: Preston, Ed, Wanda, Milton, Courtney, Hanna, Cassandra, Dr. Breaud, Dr. Davies, Dr. Fuqua, Dynamics Fitness Staff, West Calcaseiu Cameron Hospital, and every stranger who greeted us with smiles.

I Tried Internal Medicine For 50 days
Переглядів 1,3 тис.9 місяців тому
Internal Medicine by far was the most challenging rotation, both physically and emotionally. Not only were were faced with 60-80 hour work weeks, but also exposed to difficult patient interactions. It was my first experience with palliative/hospice care, which included emotional conversations and exposure to death. I grew a lot from the rotation as a student and healthcare professional, and I'm...
I Tried OB-GYN for 50 days

OB-GYN is one of the most intense, but rewarding fields of medicine. As I reflect over the last several weeks, I can't believe how much I learned during my first clerkship. I felt broken some days, but the lessons I've taken away have taught me more about myself than the last 2 years combined. I want to thank all of the residents and attendings who shared so much with us along the way. On to th...

What are diagnostic test??
Im 12 and i always dreamed to go to yonsei! Im hoping in the future god will guide me to yonsei !<3
Is this school or college
did you bring videographer with you? 😀
Does Yonsei University require very high high school GPAs? For example, in percent
Typical wannabe guy with all his little anki pathoma sketchy thingies🤡
how can i take the diagnostic test??, that you said to take earlier and where can i take it
I am so thankful for this video Thank you so much and I hope you grow to become the most fulfilled and skillful doctor out there
will always keep trying my best!
I like the 13 seconds of the background music
Im gonna get lost here damn sure
it's so easy to get lost here, the place is huge and has so many hidden gems
You are so inspiring !
Hi Alex, do you have an email address you can be reached at? Please send me an email. Thank you

Planning on visiting Nigeria one day!
What is an RLC? Great video!!
Residential Learning Community (RLC) (housing.tulane.edu/residential-learning-communities) - it's sort of a way to get more involved within your community. Not everyone takes advantage of the events, but the ones who do will make more out of their dorm experience!
Your video is the most therapeutic I’ve seen after scoring 54% on UWSA1 and exam is in 4 weeks. I was freaking out and didn’t know if that meant that I needed more time beyond the 4 weeks left.
Keep up the hustle! Currently studying for STEP2 - I also felt discouraged at points during this process, but looking back at STEP1 dedicated period, I think it's important to trust the process (even when you're not performing at your expectations), because you'll get there eventually. best of luck!
Amazing video, tysm! How many questions have you done before Jan, 9? And how many practice questions have you done in total? Just finished M1 and spending sometime over the summer to review M1 content; I feel like I forgot 80% of it!
you're already ahead of the game! I did 0 qustions before Jan 9 (bc I was focused on acing my in-house exams). This is why my scores were not where I wanted them to be, so I really had to cram for the exam. It all comes back towards the end!
A great idea. I check my refraction, with your support. Perfect!
Bro you passed cause you have the egyption national team T shirt .🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mo Salah gave me the power i needed
Currently studying for Step1 and I keep watching this video over and over again. Your plan really helped me get on track and study efficiently. Thank you so much for being so transparent and realistic, you really helped me feel like I can do this!
You got this! glad the transparency helped - A lot of the stuff found on Reddit oftentimes hides the 'human/emotional' aspect of the process, so i'm glad that my story helped a little
When you say diagnostics, what resource or site are you referring to? A little confused with regards to what you mean by doing a diagnostic every week.
diagnostic = NBME practice exam or UWorld Self-Assessment
Thanks for sharing! Did you also do anki for Dirty Medicine biochem or just watch the videos?
just watched the videos, and took a few notes here and there. His stuff is super high yield and may come back during clerkships
go to war lol step 1 is not going to a war lol
*figure of speech*
Me and 2 mates from the UK will be driving around the USA soon. We will all be 21. Bring on the girls
You’re doing great, Alex. From a Tulane med students mom.
Thank you! currently studying for STEP2, and needed to hear that :)
Is the university all in korean or in english the study
depends on the class! I took English classes
I was not loving yonsei university but after this video i like it 😊
Thank you for all the informative and funny videos. How realistic is it for an incoming freshman to get a single room with private bath?
Those are in high demand and limited (and cost a little more). Unlikely, but I know i there are specific needs, then they may be granted.
thanks for sharing useful links in description. can you tell me from where we have to prepare physiology for USMLE? please
i would use UWorld as the primary resource. Consider watching boards and beyond physiology videos
Remember the golden moments in cheer up😊😊❤
Getting it down in 12 weeks is impressive. How much of anki did you stay on top of prior to dedicated?
I tried keeping about half my Pathoma anki cards unsuspended (especially Ch 1-3). I ended up suspending Sketchy because I was able to remember the concepts more easily.
hello. Great job We will be visiting tulane university in 2 weeks . Any tips while we are there on campus. Thanks
That would be an excellent video idea!
I want to ask, are graduate students required to take Christian classes at Yonsei University? because I heard you have to follow it?
I want to ask, is Yonsei University only for Christian people?
No
I watch your video everytime I loose motivation and I get a little bit of confidence back. Thank you so very much for sharing. I go through this emotions everyday. This is very very very helpful. The plan seems very realistic. The only thing that I am still having confusion with is how did you manage to get 59% in your 2nd NBME exam when you weren’t done with studying all the systems by then ?
Much of the knowledge was from my in-house lectures over the last 18 months at my University. I was not studying from scratch
Money trap

Can u tell me for what this University specially is ???
I'm here because my favTrue beauty and Extra ordinary you was shoot here
I’m worried that my basic knowledge is lacking, but I've been working hard and improving in clinical practice. Do you think I can pass the USMLE in just four months?"
i think you cna do it in 8 weeks!
@@AlexSuh really? 😔I'm very worried about taking the exam and failing, especially since it's challenging for me. I'll only have the summer vacation available for studying, and I plan to study for a specific duration of 9 hours per day. At the end of the month, there will be a review. people around me keep saying that I need a whole year to pass, and it's causing me to feel discouraged
Thank youuuuuuu big relate
After getting into Tulane RD w a $20k/yr merit scholarship and half-assing my why Tulane essay so bad that I can't even remember what I wrote about I'm... genuinely shocked that they wanted me
